Present Mode Pro

Present Mode transforms your mind map into a step-by-step presentation. Instead of showing the entire map at once, it walks through branches progressively — keeping your audience focused on one idea at a time.

Starting Present Mode

Press Cmd+Shift+P, or use the menu bar or toolbar button. Your map switches to a clean, full-screen view with all distractions removed.

How It Works

Once in Present Mode:

  • The map is displayed in a clean, distraction-free view.
  • You navigate through branches step by step.
  • Each node is presented individually with focus — the view automatically zooms and centers on the current node.
  • Children are revealed progressively as you advance, building your story one piece at a time.
  • Your audience sees a focused view of each point rather than the entire map all at once.

Content Panel

Press Space on a node that has rich notes, tasks, or attachments to open the content panel. This shows the node’s additional content alongside the presentation view. Use Left and Right arrows to switch between the different content tabs (notes, tasks, attachments) within the panel.

Great For

  • Team meetings — walk through a project plan branch by branch.
  • Client presentations — reveal your thinking progressively instead of overwhelming with the full picture.
  • Teaching and workshops — build concepts step by step so learners can follow along.
  • Decision reviews — present options and their trade-offs one at a time.

Note

You can also enter Present Mode with Cmd+Shift+P from anywhere in the app.

Tip

Before entering Present Mode, use Focus Mode and Collapse Others to control exactly which parts of your map the audience will see. This lets you tailor the presentation flow without changing your map structure.
