Search
Quick search lets you find any node across your entire map instantly. On large maps with dozens or hundreds of nodes, search is the fastest way to navigate.
Opening Search
Press Cmd+K or click the search icon in the toolbar. A search dialog appears at the bottom center of the screen.
Using Search
Start typing and results update in real-time as you enter your query. Search is case-insensitive, so you do not need to worry about capitalization.
Each result shows:
- Node text — the content of the matching node.
- Depth badge — a color-coded label (H1, H2, H3, etc.) indicating how deep the node is in the tree. H1 is the root, H2 is a direct child of the root, and so on.
Navigating Results
| Action | Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Move through results | Up / Down |
| Jump to selected node | Enter |
| Close search | Escape |
When you press Enter on a result, the selected node is automatically expanded (all parent nodes are expanded if they were collapsed) and centered on the canvas. You are taken directly to that node with it selected and ready to work with.

Scope
Search looks across all nodes in the current map. Every node is searchable regardless of whether it is currently visible, collapsed, or deeply nested.
Use search as a quick navigation tool rather than just for finding things. On a large map, pressing Cmd+K and typing a few characters is much faster than scrolling and scanning visually.
